Since 2012 Sicklinghall Village Hall has had its own website.

This website is regularly updated, so please keep checking to see if we've added any new pages or features, and for announcements of events.

In early 2014 extensive refurbishment work marked the first stage of improvements to bring the Village Hall itself up-to-date. See elsewhere on this website for more information.

Great News!

In early 2014, after more than two years of burning the midnight oil, the committee’s plans to refurbish the village hall and to improve its facilities were boosted by a £49,980 grant from Biffa Awarda multi-million pound fund that helps to build communities and transform lives through awarding grants to community and environmental projects across the UK.

New for 2015 was the refurbishment of the kitchen, following the offer of a £5000 grant from Sicklinghall Parish Council, which has completed the update of our lovely village hall.

WE ARE  READY FOR YOUR BOOKING SO COME ALONG AND USE OUR SMART AND CONTEMPORARY FACILITIES!

Gift Aid - Support your Hall

Sicklinghall Village Hall is a registered Charity and is also registered for Gift Aid.

This means that, if you are a UK taxpayer, the Gift Aid scheme will increase the value of your donations by recognising the donation as money you have
already paid tax on, and allowing the charity to
reclaim basic rate tax on its value before tax - the ‘gross’ amount.

Basic rate tax is currently 20 per cent, so this means that every £10 you donate is worth £12.50 to the
Village Hall.

And, if you pay higher rate tax, you can reclaim extra relief on your donations through your tax return.

In order to make a Gift Aid donation you’ll need to make a Gift Aid declaration. We will ask you to
complete a simple form - one form can cover every gift made to the same charity for whatever period you choose, and can cover gifts you have already made and/or gifts you may make in the future.

Please contact one of our Committee members, or email: info@sicklinghallvillagehall.org.uk to request a form or to discuss a donation.
